Corvette Rear Spring and Trailing Arm Retainer Crimping Tool Kit

 This time saving tool kit allows easy installation of rear spring cushion retainers in 1963-1982 Corvettes.  It allows installing the retainers while the trailing arms and spring are mounted in the car, which is not possible with other methods.

 Kit consists of the following items:

1 aluminum spacer

2 large flat washers

1 grade 8 bolt

1 grade 8 nut

1 grade 8 flat washer

1 conical shaped flaring tool

1 crimping tool

1 aluminum lock block

This kit comes with detailed instructions and can be used for both 3831587 retainers used on 1963-1966 Corvettes (Quanta 28-01A) and 3910701 retainers used on 1967-1982   Corvettes (Quanta 28-01).  This tool was produced in cooperation with D.W. Mikell Automotive.

 Only other tools needed are:

• ½ drive socket wrench with ¾ inch socket
• ¾ inch box-end wrench
