Shipping policy

  • Order processing times.  We strive to ship all orders within 24 hours of order placement.  For in stock orders we strive to ship the order same business day if the order is placed by 3:00 PM EST.  Some lower volume products (certain gas tanks) are maintained at regional warehouses and may require shipping quotes due to their large size.  In these cases we will contact you by telephone. Product is not shipped on Weekends or Holidays.  If you have an urgent order, please call us.
  • Domestic Shipments.  Product is shipped to domestic US locations only.  Our usual shipper is UPS, although USPS or FedEx may be available or used, depending on the product and the warehouse of origin.  
  • Shipping costs. Shipping costs are provided on checkout and take advantage of Shopify volume shipping discounts.  Initial shipping charges on checkout assume shipment in one box.  Certain orders may need to be shipped in more than one box to prevent damage.  Multiple boxes may result in an increased shipping charge.  Certain products require a shipping quote due to shipping out of a regional warehouse or due to a large size or oversize product (eg. gas tanks with a filler neck installed).
  • Local delivery options. Please call ahead 410-658-5700 if you wish to meet us to pick up a product in Rising Sun, MD.  This will assure we have the product in stock in Rising Sun, set it aside for your pickup, and agree upon a pickup time, and location.  We cannot guarantee local pickup of a product without call ahead.  We are primarily an ecommerce business.
  • Returns, changes, and cancellations. Please see our return policy for details on returns.  For changes in your order, please call immediately to assure the product has not been shipped.  Certain special order items or final sale items cannot be returned.  Check with us if you are uncertain whether your special order item is returnable.
  • Order tracking details. Online orders will generate a tracking number which will be emailed to your provided email address.  
  • Damaged items.  Products leave our facilities in new condition and is well packaged.  Any packaging or product damage would be due to shipper issues.  Please call us at 410-658-5700 if you experience this type of damage and we will instruct you how to file a claim with the shipper.  We generally have very low rates of shipping damage with our preferred shippers.
